2000 Highway Capacity Manual has an equation (16-2) on page 16-5 for the minimum green time for pedestrians at a signalized intersection (see attached).

Is this equation in one of the 2010 HCM manuals? I can't seem to find it. Has it been replaced by another equation? Thanks for the assistance.

J, you didn't include the attachment but I know what you mean. I think you are right, this equation has been replaced. I think this old HCM2000 equation has been built in to the new HCM2010 methodology. See HCM2010 Chapt 18 (Signalized intersections) Pedestrian Mode, starting page 18-59.

Thanks for the direction ptatohed!

I found the equation(s) I was looking for. Equations 18-65 and 18-66 on page 18-67 (HCM 2010) appear to be the update for equation 16-2 in HCM 2000.

Very good. Good find, I missed that last night.

I found it while reading Chapter 31 (Volume 4), page 31-41:
