importance of concrete mixtures book?

i bought the PCA concrete mixtures book listed in the design standards, but the exam specs only has one part of the "other topics" section that mentions concrete...is this book worth putting a lot of time into? i've skimmed through it but i dont want to waste a bunch of (now very limited) time on a book that one question is going to come from.

No, don't spend a lot of time in it. Get familiar with the index and some of the basic sections.
