The thing about Father's Day is you're a father, you can't really take a day off to relax. You're still a father. I still made dinner, I still changed diapers, I still rocked a baby to sleep. I'm still tucking in a toddler and a third grader. And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Happy day to others who did today what they do every other day but today got a card and maybe a dinner out!

I had the "pleasure" of sitting and painting plaster pieces of Junior's "fairy garden" with her that she got for Christmas. I am still finding glitter all over the place, and sadly, it is not body glitter off of some stripper. At least she was appreciative of it.
