I intend to take the Construction depth moduluem. I have the 5th Edition of this book, and it looks like the 7th Edition contains updated Timber Design. Does anybody have an opinion on whether or not to update this referece if I get the Standard Practice for Bracing Masonry Walls

During Construction and National Design Specification for Wood Construction? Thanks.
