A possible morning problem is to show an example illustration whereby the four of the mulitple choice answers might be any of the following:

* Cavalier View

* Isometric View

* Principle View

* Sectional View

etc.

See MERM Practice Exam #4, Morning Session - "The illustration shown here is an example of a:"

I'm trying to find a simple and basic graphic guide with all the possible views, a short definition, and an example view. I've googled this to death using keywords such as "Basic Graphics for PE exam", Engineering Graphics basics, etc.

MERM Chapter 2 has some information, but I'm looking for a simple list with example type problems such as:

1) Image example

2) Name of View

3) Short sentence definition

Otherwise, please comment/reply to this thread with various graphical views that would be helpful to become familiar with, attaching or linking an image.

I've come across these:

I don't have any references so I can't really help you there... I think the MERM Chapter 2 has everything you need though. The key to determining the type of view is to look at the angles of the projected image (which the MERM has graphics for). These are easy questions, just don't look to much into them, and you should be fine.
