I haven't yet dug into the details of drilled shafts, and I've only just glanced over the material. From what I can tell for all practical purposes, one can analyze drilled shafts in a method similar to piles?
Are there any tricks/assumptions to be made regarding drilled shafts that I should be aware of? Am I completely off base here?
