My Fluke-30 clamp meter lists this accuracy at the 200A range:

0-100A, 1.8% + 8 dgts

100-200A, 1.4% + 0 dgts

What is dgts? Digits? Is this the resolution?

I got 0.1A as the "best resolution" for this meter on the fluke website.

So, is my accuracy +/-[(1.8% of reading) + 0.1*8] amps in the 0-100A range?

I very vaguely recall this from a lab back in school, so this is testing my memory. I think you've got it correct, that "dgts" is "digits" and refers to one count of the resolution. Say you're measuring 50 A on the 0-100 A scale. Your meter is accurate to 1.8% of the reading, so the actual value is between 49.1 to 50.9. Then you add in the "dgts" which affects the least significant digit. I'm assuming from your post that your meter reads in tenths of an amp in this range, so in this example your actual value would be between 48.3 to 51.7 (unless it reads in hundreths, then it would be 49.02 to 50.98).

But I only remember this vaguely so I could be wrong. You'd think they'd cover this in the "Measurement & Instrumentation" chapter of the EERM but they don't.
