Overview/Responsibilities: BRPH Architects - Engineers, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for the open position of Director of Mechanical Engineering. This individual will provide direct supervision for a 12-person mechanical team that provides HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design for schools, aerospace support facilities, commercial buildings and industrial facilities. Candidate should have experience with chilled water systems, DX systems, air balance, primary/secondary pumping, ventilation, DDC Controls, HVAC systems analysis, plumbing and fire protection systems.
Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years experience in HVAC and plumbing design. BSME, P.E. license with ability to get licensed in Florida and U.S. citizenship are required as well as a Bachelors degree or higher in a related field. Working efficiently within a fast-paced team environment and critical attention to detail are key components of success in this position.
