Same here. Love JD, and this role shows how good of an actor he is. But that's just my opinion.

He's a super underrated actor, in my opinion. When he was in "21 Jump Street" way back, I thought, "THAT GUY SUCKS!!!!" But when I saw him in "Donnie Brasco" -- particularly after seeing the real Joe Pistone/Donnie Brasco on television, I started seeing that the guy has real talent. Now that he's fired his management group, I hope to start seeing him stretch his legs in roles like Whitey Bulger instead of things like that dreadful "Mordecai" or "The Lone Ranger." (He was pretty good in "The Rum Diary," too.)
