Hi everyone,

Just wanted to make sure that I was right on this.

I never forget something that I discuss , so :

When Solving for consolidation settlement , H (in), is the full thickness of the layer.

The thickness of the layer is dependent upon whether you have one-way drainage or two-way drainage. If you have two-way drainage then you divide the layer thickness by 2.

I think the H that you are talking about is for solving for coefficient of consolidation Cv.
