I mainly deal with felxible pavement design, so this is new territory for me. We have a client that wants to do a rubbilization project with an AC overlay. We have been given some preliminary FWD data, but it was done on the existing PCC pavement, before rubbilization.
Is there a way for me to backcalculate a k-value from this data? I know that once the rubbilization takes place, it is treated as reinforced subgrade, and it's a simple flexible pavement design. We just want to know if we can use the FWD data we were given to back into some usable data.
