3 phase delta or wye are both = sq rt 3 * V(line) * I (line) ?
Yes to your question, but there are two ways to do them.

On the Delta, Power (VA) = Voltage * Line current * sq rt 3 Also on the Delta, Power (VA) = Voltage * Phase current * 3

On the Wye, Power (VA) = Line Voltage * current * sq rt 3 Also on Wye, Power (VA) = Phase Voltage * Current * 3

This took me a while to get straight, but it makes since once you see the pattern along with the diagrams.

And if you want to get more confused, throw in a neutral on the delta and get the high leg.
