What are the #s up to these days?  Six figs yet?  Mine is 78,XXX issued after the Fall 2011 exam.

This doesn't sound right.  I believe we hit 79,000 in my exam cycle (6 years ago).

I just checked the look-up data base and...... ah, I see, you just transposed your #s.  I think you meant 87,XXX, not 78,XXX.

Aw shucks, I chose Registered also based on the fact that that's what everyone at my firm has. I personally prefer Licensed as well, but bowed to the majority also.
