Obviously this was dumb, and the Boston Fire Department quickly dispatched their own form of street justice.

This is awesome. I've only seen it in the movies, the fact that it was done in real life is even better.

The part I don't understand is why they have to break both windows. Sure you have to gain access to the car, but once you're in why can't they just lean across and open the other door? They basically have to crawl through the car to get the hose through anyways. Maybe it has something to do with "access to private property". :dunno:
