The Quality function has just undergone a major organisation change opening up opportunities throughout the Operational Quality Organisation for Quality Managers. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for a multi-disciplined team with a layered hierarchy, supporting various areas of the Business including Build Delivery, Supply Chain and Governance.
This role will provide you with opportunities to progress within the function to senior roles as well as moving into other disciplines within Quality. Working closely across the wider organisations, this will also allow for the ability to gain a broader knowledge of the business making this an exciting and great time to join the function.
Your main responsibilities as a Quality Manager will involve:
Day to day management of Quality Personnel within the associated discipline area
Accountability for the quality activities as defined by contractual requirements for the relevant Quality Area
Providing guidance to the business on improvements, quality performance and culture
Supporting quality activities associated to facility including investigations and audits as required
Responsible for performance management and development of team
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential:
Previous leadership experience of a multi-disciplined team
Stakeholder Management including facilitation and negotiation skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
Desirable:
Quality experience in either an inspection or assurance based role including leading on quality activities e.g. investigations, audits
Desirable areas of background are Supply Chain, experience of Reactor Critical Build or Nuclear Build standards, outfit, manufacturing and heavy engineering, budgetary control and coaching
