On 1.13 should the answer be 8.66 A. Shouldn't it be 3300VA/√3*220V = 8.66. Think they forgot to divide by the square root of 3.

Their answer is correct. The line voltage is given and the load is a single-phase load connected across two phases.

 
It's not a 3-phase load. That is why there is not a square root of 3. It is a single phase load. Thus, why 3300/220 = 15A.
