Been out of the country the past two weeks, barely had access to the net. Hope its not too late to announce that...
I PASSED!!!

Thanks EB for all the support. Really appreciate it.

I feel you. I took the LEED last week too, and passed by the way. What a smooth and fast process. NCEES needs to come up with a better system. Waiting for months make no sense.
Well I am back guys.
Ilyas, we usually get ours about two weeks after the first state reports. I think we might get something during the first week of January.
I hear that! I'd be happy to not have to think of Fourier, Bode plots, op-amps, BJT's, etc.
But I hope we don't even have to worry about April, if you know what I mean. Good luck to all!
Think about it this way:
0.08/ZB = 25MVA/100MVA
1/ZB = 25MVA/(100MVA*0.08)
ZB = (100MVA*0.08)/25MVA
or
25MVA is 25% of the base MVA
Therefore, 0.08 is 25% of the base impedance. Therefore, base impedance equals 0.32
Ok, dumbest question of the year...
277V - Line-to-Neutral Voltage
480V - Line-to-Line Voltage
831V - ?
831 = 480V * sqrt(3)
Thanks for the help by the way.
On NCEES question #529, can anybody help me understand why the 480V is being divided by sqrt(3) in the solution? I understand they are subtracting the Voltage Drop from the panel voltage, but I can't figure out why the voltage is being divided by sqrt(3). I would really appreciate any help with...

Wasn't too fortunate this go-round. Oh well, I guess second time will have to be the charm for me. I always knew studying for the PE in my last semester in grad school was not a very bright idea. I'll be taking it in October with no distractions. Wish me luck guys.
Congrats to all who passed.
