Mine says pass on the Texas website (https://engineers.texas.gov/exam_check_grades.php) at 91% (Power) but still says Results Pending on the NCEES page.
I just received my approval today (F5 paid off) to sit for the PE inTexas April, 2015. Yeah!!!!! Take that Washington (that is no longer waiving the FE)
I found my own answer but thought I would share in case someone came across this thread. Yes, MVA method can be used on single phase. :) answer for above question is :
MVAsc=11 MVA/.39= 28.2 MVA.
I=28.2MVA/5KV= 5641A
Can the MVA method be used on single phase circuits? I got #1 on volume 2 of complex imaginary wrong.
Single phase gen, 5kv, 11MVA, j.39pu sub transient impedance... Find fault current
Thank you. I am obviously new here and appreciate the guidance. I didn't realize there was a search!!! Duh. Hope that isn't indicative of my intellect. Destined to fail? :)
What is the difference between the US 6 edition version and the International Version? I am concerned about cost, but don't want to make a bad choice just to save money.
