HOW DO I ORDER MY SEAL?

I strongly second what solomonb said. I have my own energy assessment/inspection business and it is HARD to build up a clientele base sufficient enough where you can support yourself. Also, there are the little things such as if the work is seasonal. I do not know if civil work is seasonal...

HOW DO I ORDER MY SEAL?

Forgot to mention, Check you state board requirements for the engineer seal. There might be requirements for the size, name and words "Licensed or Registered". Also, the board should give you a license number. Make sure you include this in the order. You probably already know this but if...

    PE HVAC/Refrigeration Exam

ikesdsu, I am supprised but I actually passed! I can't believe it!! I know that I missed so much problems in the afternoon HVAC Depth. NCEES must have thrown out ALOT of problems due to ambiguity or for being just plain too hard. But that doesnt matter, All that matters is that I Passed!

    Map: October 2012 Exam Results

SC should be next to release the results because NCEES is located near Clemson University in South Carolina and it seems they have a history of releasing the results early. By the way our state motto is "Dun Spiro Spero" which means "While I Breathe, I Hope."

    Oct 2012 PE Results Pool

I would like for the results to be released today but the NCEES website says it is 8-10 weeks before the results are released. It will be 8 weeks exactly on Dec 21st. Has the NCEES ever released results before that time frame? If so how often? It is not that I am trying to be pessimistic, I...

    Oct 2012 PE Results Pool

This waiting thing is taking forever and a day. It will be 8 weeks exactly on Dec 21st for those that took the October 2012 PE exam. That is just 10 days away. After having waited 44 days, I will say that these last 10 will be some of the longest I have ever had.

    PE HVAC/Refrigeration Exam

Yea, I hardly do much of that. The type of work I usually am assigned is drafting work and sizing specs for AHUs. Also I did more electrical work with switchgear bus design for heat consideration applications at my previous job (i.e. ventalation requirements for cabinets, space heaters for...

October 2012 Exam Results - December

I still think the results will be in December 17th to December 18th for South Carolina. That is what the evidence suggests from previous release dates.

    PE HVAC/Refrigeration Exam

ikesdsu, The morning section was easy, but the afternoon section for me was difficult. There were a lot of problems I would expect to see on the Thermal/Fluids portion and not the HVAC portion. However, I hear that to take the HVAC portion you should know a lot about Thermal/Fluid systems and...
