yrefla, how did you do?
I found myself with only 2 weeks to prepare too, I basically gave up and ended up only spending a total of 16-18 hours studying and somehow i passed...
I wasn't expecting anything, but my manager just informed me he put me in for a 4.9% raise based on obtaining my PE. Hopefully the company owners approve it.
I think i am being compensated adequately.
Take the NCEES practice exam and see how you feel.
I found it was a good approximation for the difficulty and type of questions on the actual exam (chemical Oct 2011)
I only had time to study for the two weeks leading up to the exam (16-18 hours total) and ended up passing somehow.
I think my...
Yeah im hoping they didn't mess it up. Having to explain to everyone that i failed after having told them i passed would be a bummer.
Plus i would probably have to pay them back for all those celebratory beverages...
Graduated BS 2004
Passed FE April 2006
Passed PE Oct 2011
7 years, but passed both FE and PE first try. Funny thing is I don't need my PE, just did it because my company offered to pay for it... :dunno:
I ordered from engineerseals.com. $27.67 for stamp, ink pad and shipping.
I ordered on monday, they shipped on tuesday and it should be here on friday (According to the tracking number.)
Not bad.
Got my results by logging into "My NCEES" on the 15th... still have not recieved an email...
Has anyone from NC recieved a results email? The last email i got from NCEES was the "October 2011 Exam survey" thing.
Any other Chemical PE takers?
The morning was more or less what i expected to see and i think it went ok... the afternoon questions were much more qualatative than i was prepared for.
The worst part is, if i fail, i really don't know how/what to study differently so that i pass next time.
