    Min curb radius Question

Platohed, thanks, it does make sense. that is probably the only answer to this problem. Do you know in what case should I use tbl.9-19. Can't figure out the difference between tables. Actually, do you think, if radius is not given in tbl.9-19, I should go to to tbl. 9-31. Or its a different case

How did you do on the April 2012 Exam

I afraid to say "I nailed it". Last October I really nailed it, had only 9 unknown for the entire test. Everything was straight forwarded and clear. I failed it. Last Friday I had more unanswered questions (about 15 or less total). So, what my chances are? We'll know in 2 month :beat:

Intersection crashes (i.e. injury accident rate) conflicting answers

look carefully for the wording. It should say injure or property or all accident counts. Wording is the key

Intersection crashes (i.e. injury accident rate) conflicting answers

If it ask to find injury accidents, do not include property damage accidents in you calculations (such car crash)

    Pedestrian Crossing Green Time

YES, I had problem like this. you need to choose the highest volume number in traffic direction, or if you asked for entire intersection you need to choose the highest volume for both directions. Like SB is 200,300,400 (3 ph), NB 100, 200,300 (3ph), EB 100,100 (2ph) and WB 100,200 (2ph), So...

    Signal Cycle Length

I came across problems where eq. 410.15 from Goswami more useful. I think, if they don't ask for Webster formula, we need to use the one from Goswami.

    Stopping sight distance on grades

If you given grades, you can find K=L / A. Use Green Book p. 270-277. you can find K-value, base on the tables from Gr. Bk or graphs in CERM p.78-14. Knowing V and K you can find L or SSD

    Acceleration Rates

    Use Sb=V12 - V22/ 30 (f-g) , Where V is mph,Sb is distance, f is 11.2/32.2=0.35 See CERM p. 74-5. I do not have ITE, but Goswami p.655 describe the case.

    Acceleration Rates

I did not find defaults for acceleration rate in Ch. 3. But CERM 74-5 gives this data: accel-11.2 ft/sec and decc.-14 ft/sec

    Geometric Design Question

    PC = 570+18.08 T = 193.92 by CERM 78.4 T' = T+12=193.92 R2T' / tg (14.5/2) = 1524.33 see attached file Hope I am right.

    Left-Turn length question

I was going to send exact the same explanation as Jaa046 and few more guys which describe the solution in the same way. One more thing is puzzle me. There is 10% trucks and there is a table in (attached) saying s=30 (not 25). If i use data from the table my answer wouldn't be correct. why this...
