Thanks. I finally got my status after sending an email to the PE board. Mine was approved on 4/6 and is waiting for the documents to be sent out. It took me more than 6 months with NCEES records. Wow........

How do you find out you were approved? I couldn't find any where to check my status. Thanks.

I think Maryland is NCEES proctor state.

Did you receive your NY PE? How long? I applied the NY PE with NCEES records and was asked to provide Form 4A 2 months after submitting application. I am still waiting for my NY PE comity and it's more than 6 months and haven't received that. NYS........really?

I think one unacceptable in the afternoon will fail you unless you have extremely high score in the morning.

I had 29/40 in the morning and two acceptable, one unacceptable and one improvement required for building. I failed.

Several states have released their PE results. Hopefully, SE will be released soon.

I studied on my own. I have 2 kids so I could not make it to any regular class times. Also the review course is too expansive.

Thanks for the website. I did register and the status didn't change since they received my application. I have NCEES records and the education verification. These information should be in the state now but nothing changed in my status. I would say the website is bascally useless.

Joe, Thanks. I did receive a letter after I submitted my application. I didn't think I need to resubmit the PE reference forms that time since I have NCEES records. I just downloaded the form and will resubimt these soon.

Joe, I am working on the NJ PE comity too. I submitted my aplication form and NCEES records. Do you mean I have to resubmit the professional reference forms? Anything esle?

The max moment and shear are based on influence line. I think either the question will give you that or it might not be that straightforward to have the answer.

Thanks. I just used min. 3/8" when I designed it but the answer showed 1/4" makes me think maybe I missed something here.
