They flipped through and shook out my reference books.
On a side note. I spiral bound my notes. I think it is much easier to flip though and as you have a very small work area at the test site it will take up less space and easier to work with than a binder.
They were very strict. Nothing in...
I passed my first time.
Consider taking a course, School of PE offers a courses in both and I know several of my friends have taken Hiner's course and raved about it.
Also get a bunch of practice test and problems and work thru them multiple times till you know how to solve them by heart...
Regardless, if you haven't heard anything in my opinion it mean you will probably be approved. They contacted me right away when there was an issue with my application. So start studying!!! You don't want to go thru the studying and test taking process more than once. Plus by the time you really...
Smcintee,
If you can swing the price tag I recommend you sign up for the School of PE course. They will teach you all you need to know for the morning session. In addition to that do as many practice problems and test that you can. As you work the problems highlight and tab your references and...
I believe it is because the temporary shoring transfers the load to the floors below. I believe a similar problem is explained in SP-4 Formwork for Concrete

I did some of Mansour practice test and problems and I actually really liked the course books for SchoolofPE.
Surveying Principles for Civil...

One other comment, I would practice not righting in your practice exams or problems. The tricky part for me was that you are constantly going back and forth between the screen and you practice paperwork. Makes it especially tricky when you have to figure out the blank parts of table.
I still...
I used two of three books you mentioned above but when it comes to the test better to have them and not need them then need them and not have them.
For instance, there was one reference book that none of the hundred of practice problems ever called for me to use. (School of PE, Mansour, NCESS...
I wouldn't wait too start studying though. If I would have waited till I heard from the CA board that they had approved me it would have been way to late to start studying...
School of PE was pretty good. There "binders" were very my main reference for the morning section. (On a side note I...
