hmmm...I would say start with perfecting the subject areas you are strong at. Then work on your weaker ones. It is a numbers game in the end! Good luck, I hope you do well next time!
Took and Passed the Mech PE Exam this October(first time) I attribute this mainly to the MERM (by ppi). Honestly it was the only reference I used on the entire exam. I took the thermal/fluids exam
haha...ahh the raise issue. My old firm gave 2 raises per year guaranteed. kind of performance based...but more kiss-A$$ed based. Well, it's great to have passed the PE exam
I'm jealous of you texans with your scores! Though I am happy that I passed the the test - guess that's all that matters in the end! Congrats to all of you who passsed, seems like there are a lot who passed in Texas (on this forum)
+1 on the afternoon session. Though I took the Mechanical Thermal/fluids. Thankfully i passed though! I was feeling like I was on the fence. I wish i had a diagnostic!
Hey All,
Took the Mech Therm/fluids and passed it. I only used the MERM to study and used this exclusively on the test. Was wondering what other people's experiences were -what other texts did you find useful? May seem kind of mute at this point, but I am curious.
I though that this would...
Yep...still trying to bring up my post count! ;) :)
The exam was interesting. I was worried but all I used to study for this was my MERM, and that was pretty much my only reference. I took the Mechanical Thermal/fluids. Does anyone have any comments on this specific test this past time...
I agree that the email/web method is better. The only difference between the two for me is a couple of days...why not save a couple days of agony!?
Congrats on all who passed!
FE- HP33s
PE- TI30xs multiview (can't beat the scrolling function to see previous answers!)
I used TI89 through college- RPN is ok...but can't beat the usability of the TI calculators IMHO
Cool, Thanks for the info! I may try to attend the banquet depending on where it is at! I would love a diagnostics as well-just to have it! Enjoy your Christmas!
