Took and Passed the Mech PE Exam this October(first time) I attribute this mainly to the MERM (by ppi). Honestly it was the only reference I used on the entire exam. I took the thermal/fluids exam

haha...ahh the raise issue. My old firm gave 2 raises per year guaranteed. kind of performance based...but more kiss-A$$ed based. Well, it's great to have passed the PE exam

+1 on the afternoon session. Though I took the Mechanical Thermal/fluids. Thankfully i passed though! I was feeling like I was on the fence. I wish i had a diagnostic!

Yep...still trying to bring up my post count! ;) :) The exam was interesting. I was worried but all I used to study for this was my MERM, and that was pretty much my only reference. I took the Mechanical Thermal/fluids. Does anyone have any comments on this specific test this past time...

I agree that the email/web method is better. The only difference between the two for me is a couple of days...why not save a couple days of agony!? Congrats on all who passed!

FE- HP33s PE- TI30xs multiview (can't beat the scrolling function to see previous answers!) I used TI89 through college- RPN is ok...but can't beat the usability of the TI calculators IMHO

I wonder if every state has their own pass score(for each discipline/concentration) based on how many PEs they wanna pass each time. Or if they decide that on a national level based on the average need for the entire US. Any thoughts?
