    So how do we get those beautiful little stamps?

    Ordered my seal/stamp on Wed AM after getting my PE number from the state. Received the stamp in today's mail. Received the electronic version of the stamp in about 3 hours after the order. www.engineerseals.com Now to lock up my stamp in a safe deposit box so I'm not tempted to use it...

    FE 1992 MS 2001 PE 2013 just a mere 21 years :( But I passed all on the first attempt

    How did you do?

    Now I can tell you how I did . . . . . I PASSED!! Due in large part to all the advice here. I see that the pass rates are posted on the NCEES website. Environmental pass rate was only 55%. So a big kudos to those that passed! Mark Easter, PE

    Thinking about going back to school for engineering...any advice?

    In his position, I would consider a masters in industrial hygiene or environmental science or something similar. That would take much less time and money and is much more feasible to complete at night school. Also more compatable to the biology background. Hemi79 makes some very good points...

    NCSU review course $200 used References $450 used Exam and application $300 Mileage and hotel $250 Missed work (I'm self employed so every billable hour counts) $2500 approx. Total: $3700 If your employer gave you time to study and take the exam, you might want to thank them.

    My sentiments are exactly like David and qtip. I finished in the nick of time. If I had an extra hour; it would have probably been worth 1 extra point. I felt like my references were pretty decent. If i could have found an air sampling reference I might have gotten 1-2 extra points...
