I got my certificate last Friday. Still to receive the card. The certificate quality was bit of a let down. I have seen vendors give out better quality certificates (for attending seminars, conferences etc). At least have a raised seal, hologram or even the governors signature :D

    Response From Employer

2.5% increase effective immediately. This is in addition to the 6% raise I received at beginning of the year. I do agree that one should be thankful for having a job in the current economic scenario.

    Name on Stamp

It is my understanding that expiration date is no longer required. There is also mention of it in the April, 2009 meeting minutes.

+1 PE in CA Cons: 1. Wait additional 6 weeks for results. Pros: 1. Apply with just 2 years experience (1 year for Master's) 2. No continuing education requirements.

Another frustrating fact is that the letters are dated 7-10 days before the mailing date (something I read in the earlier posts). So if the board desired to be efficient, they could easily cut the turn around time by at least a week.

The applicants can apply for 'duplicate' letters if they never received the first one (lost in transit, never mailed out due to clerical error etc etc). The board wants them to wait a certain amount of time before requesting duplicates.

That's possible. But then again, they need to let the applicants know when to apply for duplicate letters.

At least the board should post something regarding the results on its website. Even if something vague like "Result release date is TBD". It is bad enough we have to wait the additional 5-6 weeks and now they are making us wait in the dark.
