I have mine and it hasn't seemed to help me all that much. I'd recommend taking all of the time, money and effort into directly networking with structural firms in your area. Volunteer if you have to (at least you're not accruing debt). My 2c.

To get reciprocity in the beautiful state of California, you will have to take the seismic and survey exams, both of which are much more difficult than the 8 hour (from personal experience). Good luck.

CAPLS, you guys rock! My girlfriend woke me up, showing me my name on the database Christmas morning :) Now I will never forget that I get my PE on Christmas day. Took me two tries, but thankfully got the surveying done this October. Woohoo! RCE#80071X

What are the chances my results letter will make it from Sacramento to San Diego by tomorrow? Waiting until Monday to find out I've cleared the entire exam would be torture!

To be honest, if the results aren't on license lookup after the daily DCA updates, you're not going to find out until the next day. Mailed results should come out 1-3 days after the first names are in the database.

Also, with the new CBT exams, expect the questions to be grossly unlike anything you study in cuomo/boniface :)
