    How many references are you bringing?

    I wouldn't take any references you are not familiar with.  It will just eat up more time looking through a new book for you.  I took MERM, Roarks, Machiners hand book and forgot my unit conversion book last October.

    Time Gap FE to PE

    Took the FE in Feb, PE in October, passed both.  It's up to you and know what kind of time commitment you can give.

    Anyone here planning to take PE machine design in April 2018

    Took the FE in February and PE in October (Passed!) so that is definitely a good idea. There will be a lot of frustration over the course of the next few weeks, but once everything starts going right it will feel fantastic!

    MERM 12 vs 13 - MD PM exam

    With those two you should be fine.  Just practice problems, tab your books and make sure you know your appendix.  You don't want to take a book you've never used before!

    I would say consolidate resources and just be comfortable answering problems.  Know your appendix well, it can really help.  I went through the test and just marked off the easy ones (labeled 1-easy  to 3-hard) and just attacked it that way.  If I was spending too much time on a problem, I would...

    IF it is a goal you have, don't give up on it, you will get there!  You are close and it will pay off.
