I wouldn't take any references you are not familiar with.  It will just eat up more time looking through a new book for you.  I took MERM, Roarks, Machiners hand book and forgot my unit conversion book last October.

Took the FE in Feb, PE in October, passed both.  It's up to you and know what kind of time commitment you can give.

Took the FE in February and PE in October (Passed!) so that is definitely a good idea. There will be a lot of frustration over the course of the next few weeks, but once everything starts going right it will feel fantastic!

With those two you should be fine.  Just practice problems, tab your books and make sure you know your appendix.  You don't want to take a book you've never used before!

I had the luxury of getting my masters before a family (though the now fiancee hated me for it).  On to the next challenge!

Well, that was nerve wrecking, but passed!  Both FE and PE in the same year!

Took the exam, just relax.  It was my first attempt so here's to hoping I passed (I'm sure you did just fine!). Do you have the MERM?  Plenty of questions you probably have can be found in there.  I don't believe you should be posting specifics though.  Just relax and wait it out.   

I feel the same way.  Not really sure what to expect, but I guess all we can do is enjoy life and see how it turns out.

Took the Mechanical Design exam.  It was okay.  Felt like a million bucks after the morning session.. The afternoon session was a different story and feel like I didn't manage my time well at all.  It will be okay, now all we can do is relax and see where we fall.  Here's to hoping everyone did...

Frankly I'm a bit terrified of this test.  I didn't really study for the FE this past February and passed (thankfully).  Hurricane Harvey happened and did its destruction to my house and surrounding areas.  Needless to say I'm winging it and hoping it works out! (ME Machine Design)
