    Question for California EEs

You can always change jobs. Some A/E firms actually try and talk you out of a PE because they might feel its unneccessary and don't want/need to pay you extra for it (unless you are required to stamp drawings of course). What are your skills and experience? HV, LV, SKM, relay coordination...

    PE review course

I told a few other people I would look into this for them when I get home (working in the field during the week). I'll try and post what I find out next week. Cableguy - Are you the other Aggie that was sitting in the back row with me at Test Masters?

    Success Strategy

I was back row as well, more towards the center-right side (facing the instructor). I was probably one of the more talkative people in the room. Congrats on passing, Test Masters really helped prepare me.

    CALIFORNIA - RESULTS April '11

Haha, am I the only one that reads the subtle jab at some of the posters who were so worried about the definition of "mid" and "early"? CAPLS has a sense of humor :)

    license in a different state

Thanks for that advice, I will definitely look into the code tomorrow. Just to be on the safeside, as you recommended, I will be sure to indicate which state I am licensed in in my signature block.

    license in a different state

You definitely cannot stamp drawings for a project not in your state of licensure. However, you are still able to put "PE" in your signature without recourse (you are, afterall, a professional engineer). I would also make sure of the billing rules, I don't yet know if the company is allowed...

Thanks to Flyer PE & Dark Knight

WORK PROBLEMS! Work 10 times the amount you think is enough. I passed Power on my first try and I'll be honest...the review course and the thousands of problems I worked are why I passed. The great thing about the course is that even with a busy work schedule it forces you to study and work...

CAlifornia PE-8 hours exams results are out

Feels amazing, I think waiting for the results was more stressful than preparing for the test. Now, if my Aggies beat LSU tonight my life will be complete!

    Unsuccessful passing Electrical Power PE

I know its expensive but a review couse is extremely helpful. Not only do they solidify topics you are unsure of (especially if you aren't a degreed EE) but the amount of problems you work in the class undoubtedly prepares you for the real thing. I took Test Masters Prep for Oct 2010 PE in CA...
