Did anyone else take the class? Did you pass/fail? How did you feel about the class content vs what was on the exam?

I stayed away from that one, it's soooooo expensive!! I feel like that one is only for people who *know* their company will dish out any $$$$$$$$ for their PE license.

I went for the GaTech, under $1k and pretty good starting point w/ the materials provided.

There are definitely other options. Even school of PE is cheaper than PPI. So is GA tech and Villanova PE review courses.

PPI strictly follows their book which is sort of not sticking with the format...it sucks

Georgia Tech is good but they need to improved their fault calculation and stuffs..machinery and NEC are good..basic theory is good as well to brush up the rust

Georgia Tech is really good considering the exam format and price. PPI was taken by one of my friend, passed the exam, but mentioned it is just like reading the important points from the PPI book. Fault Analysis is bit weak in GT. Glover textbook is awesome for fault analysis. There were close to 5 questions related to fault analysis and relays.
