To get the right answer, one should:
1. Have the reference. In this case API 682.
2. Know which equation applies to this problem.
3. Recall the ideal temperature delta, from the text.
4. Recall that you should use a design factor of 2.
This is so obscure it's comical. Don't waste another minute thinking about it.

This. Might want to ignore the 6MS problems. Based on what I see from them regularly on this board, I would.
