Seriously?  I have only hung around in the "spam" and "mafia" threads.  I can't believe someone would actually take it to that level.

At least 6 people have bothered the Chat function folks. A few have emailed. Someone said they found the head of NCEES on LinkedIN and wanted to message them. And now, it's road tripping to NCEES HQ.

I was a noob for October 2018, just took it the second time in October 2019.  I don't recall being freakish in any way.

I didn't even make a big deal about the repeat question "issue."  I was like, "We'll they're gonna do what they're gonna do.  Nothing I can do about it."

Agreed.  I really hope the people talking about going to the NCEES headquarters were being facetious...I cannot with the level of entitlement on those threads.

yep, that combined with him saying he was a professional is what triggered me.

It bad that half these asswipes will be stamping things in a few months.

I definitely remember sitting through the interminable wait period and calling the Texas State board like a noob to ask if results were being released that day (my first exam cycle, April 2017). I definitely remember breaking down during the second cycle and sending a chat question about results release to NCEES. I'd like to think I wasn't that level of whiny about it though...like I actually read and absorbed information @RBHeadge PE put out.

I saw your addition to the statement and can tell when someone is joking. You may have been but there are some who might be considering it.

For me, my attitude was "The results will get here when they get here."  Nothing we can do about it.

It's like golf, once the ball has left the putterface there's nothing to do but wait.  A good friend gave me great advice before a qualifier when I was having trouble on the greens.  He said, "Just hit it.  It's either going to go in or it's not."  Sounds silly but it worked.

This is the real problem. Not the obvious jokesters, but the lurkers and super-stressed posters who are actually nearby who start to think its a good idea.

I wonder if anyone has ever actually visited the NCEES HQ?  I wouldn't even know where it is.

I completely understand being flustered by the wait time.  This is my first time taking the PE, and this wait time sucks for sure.  I've been having a hell of a time focusing at work (he says as he types a reply in a forum).   When I took the FE, I was among the last to take the paper and pencil version, and I remember that wait time sucking as well.  However, many of these folks coming in here have some serious growing up to do.  I'm all for having a place to voice our frustrations, but to bother NCEES relentlessly is petty and juvenile, and it will not result in your results coming in any sooner.  Indeed @MEtoEE the results will get here when they get here.
