Can anyone comment on Massachusetts's release history/schedule?

Alaska is usually one of the first states. This cycle, it's been delayed for some unknown reason. Hawaii is historically around the middle of the pack.

Alaska board has had a few staffing changes and they're not as responsive as they have been in the past.

Somehow I feel like this is @Dleg's fault. :dunno:

Alaska update

I just received an email from the State Board with the following information:

"PE exam scores will be released on Wednesday, December 6th by the NCEES Exam Administrator. The AELS Board receives your exam results simultaneously, so you do not need to contact us to inform us of your score."

Another day of waiting for us up north...man, I saw that email in my inbox and I was sure I was about to learn how crappy I did on the exam....or not...lol

Heard from PCS that the MA board has received the results and are reviewing them...any bets on when they'll release them?

I called the MA Board today and asked about releasing the results. The person I talked to said that he thought the Board typically waits to release the results until validated at the Board Meeting....which is December 21. I find this hard to believe since the most of the country is out but MA may have to wait until then.

I don't think it will be that long. I took the SE exam last April and they released the results first thing on a Monday morning when most other states received their results the Friday before. They aren't quick but I don't think it will take that long.

Yeah I find it very hard to believe. Like I said he said he "thought" this was the process meaning he wasn't completely sure.

I emailed yesterday and was told results would be out "Hopefully by the end of the week."

Someone else posted a thread this morning saying they also emailed and were told hopefully the end of this week or early next week.

Is there any logic behind SC's delay? I mean the rest of the south and the entire west coast has released their results. It will really suck if they push this to Friday. I may give them a call again tomorrow if the results are not posted by 12 PM.

It all depends on the state board, and how they handle the release of the results. From my understanding, many states give NCEES permission to release results directly. Others release them as soon as they receive them. Other states review them and then receive them. And then, further, other states use companies to gather and release the results (cough* cs: *cough). And then there are states that mail out results (Hawaii and MN come to mind). Really, it all comes down to the respective state's board.

False. The map represents when PE exam results are released, which CA did yesterday.

I know it's tough! But a month, year, whatever from now, you will look back on this time and smile.

If it makes you feel better, the first two times I took the PE exam, I took a state seismic or surveying test also... And didn't get my results the same day that CA released the PE results. And the PE exam results were released several days after the first states started to release them. Heck, last December, I want to say it was something like a full week later before anyone got anything. And this was all with ALL results first coming out in the equivalent of later this week.

I know it's hard, but be patient. And then start to REALLY freak out when you get the email with the password, and have to wait for the email with the results. Assuming they're still doing it this way!

Since Alaska cannot release the PE results until tomorrow, hubby and I decided that this would be a good plan for tonight.

It's never too early to start celebrating your exam results -- pass or fail! Drinking to my suspected failure tonight, and hoping to drink to my success tomorrow night! Haha!

All you poor souls who haven't received your results yet, feel free to join us....

@blybrook PE we look like such boozers....lol :laugh:
