Anybody from IL get their PE license number as a result of the October 2010 PE exam yet? It's been a week since the results, and I'm getting a wee bit worried.

Nope, but I got a paper letter from CTS yesterday confirming the results from online.

I think its too early to worry about not getting the license number. Give it some more time.

i think the delay with #'s is now they just can't plug and chug with the info CTS gives them. THis is the first time they are allowing people to take the test before gaining the experience and the first time they required registration with NCEES in addition to the state. So they now have to weed through and take out those who don't have the required experience and those people who just registered with NCEES and not the state ahead of time like they probably should have.

Sucks for those who paid the state upfront, but that is guess as to the delay.

Thanks for your wise input Snickered3. Normally I would just wait patiently since I pretty much know my final result. But my company just announced future terminations, so I want to put up my updated my resume as soon as I can. Don't want a company to try to verify it online and then disregard me for being a liar. The four week window that CTS is saying I should receive my license is not excatly ideal, but oh well...it is what it is.

Well, according to the status page at Continental Testing, I passed the PE exam! However, after reading through this thread, I am in the same boat as some other guys who never submitted an app/fee to IDFPR. I am in the process of filling that out as I type, along with a transcript request and the verification of employment form (which needs to be filled out by my supervisor). Am I missing anything else I need to do? If so, I'd appreciate a heads up now, so I don't have any more unwanted surprises, LOL.

What a pain this has turned into. It will all be worth it in the end though ;)

I'm glad I'm not the only one...I was starting to question whether or not I should even be issued a PE license!

My IL number is up!!!!
Congrats!!!

Mine is not listed :( I guess I should have turned in the written application before the exam...oops!

I wonder if they will wait till the April 11 results come in to approve me...or maybe they process applications more than twice a year?

i think they review apps year round...or else those applying for comity would have to wait until test cycles.

hopefully they will write revised instructions for the next go round to avoid this from happening again...but not likely.

I hope this is the case as well. Don't think this could have been more vague or non-descriptive.

Did you just look in the "License Look-Up", or did you find this somewhere else on the website?
License look up on the IDFPR website.
In case you are interested. I'd say all that passed, and have their paper work completed, should now have a number assigned. I just looked on the IDFPR site and I was listed. Mine is for the SE license, so I would guess PE candidates should certainly be up by now.

This.

Well, the states getting a 66% tax raise so EVERYTHING should get better right??

Mine number is listed too. But it took me a solid minute of looking at the idfpr site to see the "license look up button". It's on the far right side in case anyone else couldn't find it. I'm so used to ignoring advertisements over there that it was practically invisible.

FYI, I sent my application in last week, and I found my name and license number on IDFPR.com today!!!

Quick question: I passed in October and am eligible for licensure at the end of May. I was planning on sending in all of my paperwork to IDPFR tomorrow. Does anyone see a problem with this?

yes. I'd wait. They denied me originally because the app deadline was two weeks before I would have the required experience. The first person to look at all that stuff is a checklist reviewer. If they open and start looking at your package before the end of may they see that you don't have enough experience they will deny it saying you don't have the needed experience.
