Almost all Robinson Healthcare products are produced at their UK manufacturing facility near Worksop, on the South Yorkshire / Nottinghamshire border.
Job Description
As the Project Engineering Manager you will liaise with the Marketing Development Team on NPD and provide detailed plans to the Operations Director on capabilities of producing in house.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for raising capital project requests across plant engineering areas, with supporting documentation, costings and timings included.
  • Able to present to the Board of Directors plans for the upgrade of current machines or plans and costings for new equipment.
  • Control of internal and external engineering projects as required with the focus on machine implementation.
  • Managing a team of Process Engineers, who will be involved in the preparation and upkeep of optimised Standard Operating Procedures, analysis and improvement of manufacturing processes, routings and material usage.
  • Project management of improvement projects, working with all operators and section leaders to make improvements that are owned by all the team.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities recommending and implementing change.
  • Analysis of downtime and waste identifying trends and developing solutions with the manufacturing team.
The Successful Applicant
  • Recognised Engineering qualification (Degree Preferable).
  • Project Management experience.
  • Able to prepare reports and recommendations.
  • Good problem-solving / organisational skills.
  • Experience of problem solving on machine issues.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
