I am taking a state-specific stormwater/sediment management BMP short course today and tomorrow and was told about UCF Stormwater Management Academy's website during the course. It has some nice info, so I am listing the whole website but of particular interest is the Florida Erosion and Sediment Design Handbook (June 2007) available in PDF for download (Free). I haven't had a chance to thumb through it (~300 pages and 30 MB) but it seemed pretty decent.

Thanks for the link! I am supposed to be rolling out our (Northern Mariana Islands) new stormwater manuals this year. The manuals have been completed since around January, but the implementing regulations are going to take a while. This will be interesting to see how our manual and regs compare - we have similar geology (sort of) and climate.

Our manuals were prepared by a firm out of Massachusetts. I doubt it would help anyone, but they can be downloaded from this page. It's a far less interesting web page than the FL site, but I think the manual is very good and definitely comparable to the standards in place in most states.

Wow, I just skimmed through the manual and it looks really nice... I'll have to add that as a recommended source for ESC design guidance. Our manual is mostly post-construction SW control, and has only basic ESC guidance.

Thanks again.
