Our Review Seminar is Based on current California Board Test Plan.
We are using a full line of surveying equipment in our seminar: Levels, Rods, Theodolite, Transit, Planimeter, & Total Station.


Brief Course Description:

• Introduction and California special engineering surveying exam
  
• Types of surveying and California Law
  
• Theory of measurements
  
• Surveying equipment and field notes
  
• Horizontal distance measurements
  
• Leveling- theory, equipment and measurements
  
• Angles, bearings, azimuths, and compass
  
• Traverse computations (balancing/adjustment, 2 unknown sides, 1 unknown side and 1 unknown bearing, and 2 unknown bearings)
  
• Length, area, volume computations, and mass diagram
  
• Topography
  
• Horizontal circular, spiral , and vertical curves
  
• State plane coordinate system
  
• Construction surveys
  
• Photogrammetry
  
• Surveying of public land
  
• Global positing system (GPS) and geographic information system (GIS)
