I tried to solved problems from chapter 3 Das Book.

I'm struggling big time with these problems I can't find the same answears that came in the book. I'm asking if somebody has solved these problems by chapter and would like to help me providing solved problems.

Which questions? I have the 5th edition so mine might be different, but I didn't get the exact answers as the book either. 3.13 had an answer for a square footing of B = 6.75'. I got 6.1', but since it had a moment and some eccentricity, I came up with 7.25'. That sound any thing like what you have run into?
