Guys I noticed that the NCEES handbook and the Lindeburg book both leave off any statics problems in 3D. I was wondering if anyone, from experience, have seen any 3 dimensional statics problems on the exam?

Thank you for your feedback

I would definitely be prepared to answer some 3D statics questions. Bars bent in three dimensions with random forces, Calculating moments using forces in three dimensions, Poles with guy wires holding them up, stuff along those lines....

As I recall, most of the questions I came across were able to be answered using logic. I didn't have to use a calculator; if you know how forces work in three dimensions then you can eliminate most of the possible choices right off the bat.
