On Figures 22-1 to 22-14 in ASCE 7, do you divide the number on the contour by 100 (since countours are in percent gravity) to get the correct Ss and S1? Thanks.
In short, yes.
They are expressed as a percentage of g.

It is a time saver!
The USGS program will go into the latitude and longitude to the nearest 1/1000th of a degree. That will get you within like 50 feet of the site. Just an FYI... opcorn:The USGS site is a great help, but invest a little time and locate the latitude nd longitude of your site. The results are much more site-specific and helpful than just the zip code. Not that it will help on the exam...
