As the Quality Assurance Inspector for Rolls-Royce, you will service the needs of production to maintain schedule and process performance. This shall include in-process and final inspection of all product by means of Non Destructive Testing (NDT), and measurement.​

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform dimensional and NDT inspections and determine acceptability against standards or specifications
  • Provide supporting documentation for patterns and finished design
  • Perform Chemical and Physical testing of material samples.
  • Perform LOI’s, Permeability and Sand testing.
  • Perform sand mixer calibrations
  • Perform Pitchometer floor layouts for large fixed pitch propellers
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to approximately 40 pounds
  • Required to be available for Service Support on a 24-hour basis, including weekends and holidays

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years experience in manufacturing and/or inspection
  • Knowledge and use of standard measuring and test equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Foundry related work experience
  • Ability to travel for government or work related training classes
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints  
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
Preferred Requirements:

  • Finishing and Machine Shop background
  • Knowledge of trigonometry
  • SAP knowledge
  • NDT experience
