Anybody familar with this stuff? Looks interesting. Saw it in a article in a Public Works magazine i get. My hometown was used as an example in the article
we used it for roadway shoulders back in Georgia, pretty duruable and cheap for shoulders, I also know that some devlopers are starting to use it in parking lots in new construction , holds up better than your typical developer installed asphalt over dirt.......
I have heard it pitched for local roads with low traffic volumes but never seen it implemented that way. Was the article using it for the actual roadway surface or shoulders?
actual residental roadway. 4 inch stone base, 6 inches of the RCC, then 2 inch hot mix asphalt overlay. just over 20% cheaper than straight up asphalt replacement
