I am taking the Civil PE (Michigan) for the second time this fall.
I'm extremely low on funds and do not want to rack up my credit card purchasing new materials that are really not neccessary.
I previously failed the exam in Fall 2004 and I'm currently using my old 9th Edition CERM with the Practice Problems (Lindburg) to study for this exam. The only thing I really want to get is a NCEES Sample Problems and materials for the PM Transportation Exam. I am aware of the new Construction Topic covered in the 11th edition, but from what I understand, the topics can still be found interspersed throughout the earlier editions of the manual in different chapters. I know standards and exam formats change often, but fundamental engineering principles remain relatively static. There must be other less expensive resources to access (copies from texts in libraries) to compensate for any extra topics that may be covered in this year's exam which may not be covered in CERM 9.
Please give me some guidance.
Thank you.
