Are those grooves in the Glacier? I cant make the "sliver" looking things out? Maybe our Alaska friends can chime in..

Most of their families may not even be alive anymore?

This has been in the news for a while up here, especially since most of the recovery efforts were conducted last summer. IIRC, it was a multi year effort to get back out there and perform the actual recovery.

The grooves you are seeing are types of Crevasse's along the surface.
