Multidisciplinary projects
As a senior process engineer you will be responsible for handling common process design tasks but also more specialised tasks within flow assurance. The variety in your tasks is high and you will solve challenges within onshore terminals, offshore platforms or pipelines. The projects you will be working on are mainly feasibility, concept or FEED studies, as well as specialist tasks to support all kinds of projects. We have a high focus on knowledge sharing and competence development. Therefore, another responsibility is to act as a mentor and guide for junior colleagues.

We offer you the opportunity to work with tasks such as:

  • Perform flow assurance studies
  • Perform process design including process simulations and heat and mass balances
  • Preparation of process flow diagrams, utility flow diagrams and piping and instrument diagrams
  • Preparation of system descriptions for process and utility systems
  • Specification of process equipment, such as separators, compressors, valves and pumps
  • Perform debottlenecking studies
  • Participation in proposal preparation
Quality-conscious and a source of inspiration
When working on concept studies you maintain a good overview and when working on FEED studies you go into great details. Further, your solutions are defined by creativity, quality and are always within agreed timeframe and budget. You have the ability to communicate clearly in a positive manner and you provide constructive feedback when working with your colleagues. Finally, you find it interesting to share your knowledge and inspire and develop knowhow of your colleagues.

To succeed in the role, you need the following competences:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering
  • Min. 10 years of experience within the oil and gas industry (onshore or offshore)
  • Previous experience as senior process engineer with similar tasks
  • Min. 5 years of experience with feasibility, concept and FEED studies
  • Min. 3 years of experience in using Hysys and analysis of outputs
  • Experience in one or more of the following soSucks!are programmes is an advantage: Ledaflow, OLGA, Pipeline Studio and/or Hysys dynamics
  • Previous experience with flow assurance studies is valued
  • Proficient in English, both in written and oral
