Evening folks,

I am preparing to take the Construction Depth and recently found a copy of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways (MUTCD) on line in pdf form. Upon downloading it I find it is over 700 pages! For those who have taken the exam and used/needed the manual, are there certain parts to focus on, or did you have to have a general feel for all of it?

As always, thanks in advance.

Forgive me. It was a late night and I didn't read the NCEES Design Standards recommendations carefully. It says Part 6 - temporary traffic control section. 184 pages is a lot better than 700+.

I'd recommend tabbing that reference for sure. In the rush of the exam the typical applications can all start to blend together.
