An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Safety Case Author to join the expanding Site Safety Case team in Barrow-in-Furness.
At BAE Systems we push the boundaries of engineering excellence to design and construct world class submarines for the UK Royal Navy.
We are currently building the Astute class (the UK Royal Navy's largest and most powerful attack submarine) and designing the replacement for the Vanguard class. As a result, the Barrow site is currently undergoing significant growth, with over £300m being spent on its expansion.
You will be responsible for undertaking and documenting safety assessments in support of the on-going Barrow Nuclear Site Safety Justification process, and so ensuring that BAE Systems maintains its Nuclear Site Licence.
