Principal Process Engineer
Do you want to be part of a growing team working on the most challenging Oil & Gas projects? And do you want to lead multidisciplinary projects? Then we might have the right job for you.
Technical expert and a valued sparring partner
As a principal process engineer one of your roles will be to act as lead engineer on multidisciplinary process projects. In addition, you will become a valued sparring partner with crucial technical insight. In a smaller, yet substantial part of the position, you will become a supervisor for a team of around 10 process engineers.
We offer you the opportunity to work with tasks such as:
-Performing specialist studies / technology reviews
-Liaising with other disciplines to achieve design consistency
-Supporting the project management team in planning, client interfacing and identification of technical issues that could delay progress and have an impact on project budgets
-Providing necessary input and support to CTR preparation and project reporting
Quality-conscious and good communicator
It comes naturally to you to set clearly defined objectives, to plan activities and projects well in advance and to take account of possible changing circumstances. You have the ability to communicate clearly in a positive manner and you provide constructive feedback when reviewing work carried out by colleagues. It is important that you are talented in establishing good relationships with clients and colleagues and that you relate well to people at all levels.
To succeed in the role, you need the following competences:
-Bachelor or Master in chemical engineering
-Min. 10 years of experience within the oil and gas industry
-Min. 3 years of experience in both conceptual studies/FEED and detailed design engineering
-Min. 3 years of experience in running PROII, FlareNet and analysis output
-Previous experience as a principal engineer on large national and international projects is an advantage
-Chartered Engineer and membership of MIChemE
